This was a perfect cabin for my family's holiday weekend. The kids (young 20s) enjoyed the bunk room, hot tub and surrounding, and the adults (50s) did as well. The house was beautifully decorated and comfortable and the host was very proactive about communicating. We didn't experience a single issue during our stay and had an absolute blast!

We stayed here for a restful weekend away from the city — it was so peaceful and beautiful! There were so many things to do on the property, from the games in the garage area to the pickleball court and lake just a short minute walk from the house. Our host was extremely responsive and quick to meet our needs when we had questions. Highly recommend!

Words can't begin to describe how incredible this AirBnB is. From the moment you walk up to the property, you know it's going to be a great stay. Rachel was extremely helpful and responsive, making it easy to plan and accommodate for a large family gathering for my wedding weekend! The property was incredibly spacious, easily had enough amenities and room for our 50 guests to gather and spend time together, and was breathtakingly beautiful. The smallest details were accounted for at this property, from the pleasant smells that greet you when you enter to the extremely well stocked kitchen. I couldn't have asked for a better place to host our morning Vietnamese tea ceremony, and being able to stay here made our wedding weekend so incredibly special. It's location was also incredibly convenient for guests to make it to our nearby wedding venue in the evening. Staying here is well worth every penny, and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area!!! :)

Hemos pasado una estadía espectacular, la cabaña de estilo semi rústico muy bien acondicionada al detalle, con varias distracciones y juegos no tuvimos tiempo de aburrirnos. Aunque el clima estuvo frío pudimos disfrutar del jacuzzi gracias a la regulación de la temperatura del agua. Amé el calor del fuego en la fría noche mientras se quemaba la leña y la hamaca en la tranquilidad del bosque será mi mejor recuerdo. La anfitriona Rachel contesto siempre súper rápido . Mi esposo pasó un cumpleaños feliz. Sin dudas lo recomiendo 100%

Amazing host! Responds so fast it is like texting a friend. The home was incredible and everything you could ask for. So clean, with comfortable beds including buttery soft pillows, mattresses, and quality linens. The dock is spacious and the sunset is beautiful over the open water. The kids loved the huge game room with pool table and video game machine. Our favorite room was the comfortable reading/wine room and of course the huge balconies with outdoor seating everywhere and even dining outside. One of the best homes we have ever visited! And the host is trustworthy and caring. No complaints.

Absolutely beautiful place !! We came with my family for my daughter’s wedding so didn’t get to enjoy the backyard and amenities as much as we wanted to due to time constraints. Everything was pristine!!

Rachel’s place is absolutely beautiful! It was so perfect for our week stay and we felt right at home. She was always extremely responsive and kind. The home is impeccably designed and so clean. I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect place and found it with this home! Highly recommend booking this - it’s 100% worth it!

We loved the Misty Heron! The location is perfect for going to the Texas Renaissance Festival, we had no traffic at all. It felt private and peaceful but still very close to nearby supermarkets. All the beds were so comfortable and we loved how much seating there was in the common area for everyone to hang out. The bathrooms were also so clean and modern. We only stayed for two nights but I would definitely come back for a longer stay!

This house was the perfect place for our family gathering. Plenty of room and open concept for us to all be together. The host was super friendly and the house had everything we needed. We will definitely be booking this house again.

The only questions I had were easily answered by a friendly reminder of the House rules posted inside the home. Everything was pretty much self-explanatory which was a big help for me, therefore I had no need to reach out to our host. There was so much to do, we bought groceries at the nearby H-E-B upon check in, so once we were settled in we had no need to leave the home not even once. That’s how accommodating everything was. We waisted no time, day 1 was Corn hole, lounging and tanning by the pool while hubby grilled dinner and for those that wanted a break from the sun, there was ping-pong and a variety of games in the game room. We ended day one with dinner on the patio, watching the sunset to sitting around the fire pit for s’mores and stories with my grandchildren (don’t forget your firewood) . Day two is too long to list lol. I will definitely stay here again, my only regret was not booking it on a full weekend since we had to return for school/work. Everything was perfect. Check-in was a breeze and our host Rachel was very communicative during the booking and made sure everything was set up for a smooth check in. Thank you so much for helping make my birthday memories even more special.
